Haircuts for Faster Hair Growth

Faster Growing Hair
For faster growing hair be sure to trim the ends during the New Moon or the Waxing moon, which is when the moon is barely starting to grow. You can cut your hair from New Moon to just before the Full Moon begins.

Thicker & Fuller Hair
This one is probably the easiest to identify, to grow fuller & thicker hair you simply trim during the Full Moon.

Slower Growing Hair

If you wish for your haircut to last longer so you won't have to keep making trips to the hair dresser, trim after the full moon right when the light of the moon begins to decrease, it can also be done during the 3rd & 4th quarters of the Waning Moon. So basically throughout the days that the moon is in the process of going from Full Moon to New Moon.

You can use this website to see the current phases of the moon. I hope this helped all you ladies who are trying to manage the speed of your hair growth.

Nail Polish Brand you Must Try

I bought these nail polishes a while back on my trip to BC, Mexico last summer & I thought I would just share my experience with this great new brand I discovered! First off I have had these polishes for about 7 months and the consistency is still as it was the day I purchased them, of course I do always keep them tightly closed and in a cool place. In addition to that these polishes don’t chip easily and it only takes about 1-2 coats to get the color, usually just one. I feel that these polishes are the equivalent of the brand Essie, which is also one of my favorite brands, but can be a bit pricey. These polishes are pretty affordable & come in different sizes. Unfortunately I have not been able to find them in the US, at least not in California. However these polishes are available on this online website .

These are currently my two favorite polishes from this brand.
Diamond Silver BNP034

Juvia NP280

I definitely do recommend this brand if you are a fan of Essie, but would like something more affordable. Remember to comment if you have tried these polishes and love them as much as I do, or if you know where they sell them in California.

Pink Ombre Cupcakes

For the ombre Valentine's Day cupcakes you can use the recipe I used or any other white cupcake recipe you like.

White Cupcake Recipe
Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine
1 3/4 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Directions:
Start by creaming the sugar & butter in a medium sized bowl. Then beat in eggs, flour, baking powder, vanilla extract, and milk each ingredient at a time in that order. Remember to preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

To get the ombre effect divide your batter evenly in 3 bowls & add food coloring to make each bowl a different tone of red. Start by making the darkest color first then make the next bowl a bit lighter and the last one the lightest. Be sure to make the tone difference noticeable so the colors don't look the same.

Once you have all your tones the way you want them, start by pouring the darkest batter on the bottom of each cupcake liner, then pour the next color into the liner making another layer, and finally pour a next layer with the lightest batter.
Finally put your cupcake trays in the oven for 20-25 min or as long as your recipe calls for. After they are done let them cool off for about 10 min & decorate them as you wish. Enjoy!

Matte Me Crazy

I recently stopped by Walmart to get some new polishes and I came across this great product. Before buying this I had never used a mattifying nail polish so at first I was a bit skeptical & didn't really think it would work since the price was only $1.72, but this stuff is really good. It really does give the mattified effect; I was pretty amazed when I started putting it on my nails because it dried pretty fast and I actually saw the gloss from my blue nail polish fade. The great thing about this is that it's a top coat and you can therefore mattify any other nail polish you like. Additionally I like that this polish is long lasting and does not chip very easily. So far it has lasted me two weeks and still looks decent. If you're looking for an inexpensive mattifying nail polish then you should certainly try this. I have left the link in the picture!

First Time Lushie!

So a couple weeks ago I finally got myself a lush face mask. I had wanted to try their products for the longest because I had heard great things about this shop. Since it was my first time shopping there I only bought one thing, just to try it out and see how I liked it. So I tried out their Cosmetic Warrior face mask for about the past 2 weeks and I am in love with it!

I have never used a more effective face mask than this one. Before actually going to the store to get it I searched up their face masks, and this one seemed to have the best reviews. Most reviews said that it cleared up skin and left it smooth and that is exactly what it did for me. After the first use I could see a great difference in my skin. My skin is very sensitive and gets irritated easily so I was a bit hesitant before applying it, but this has worked wonders for me in the past two weeks. Plus it's really easy to apply and remove & the cool texture it has is very refreshing.

Most reviews that I read also said that this mask has an awful smell; however to me it honestly doesn’t smell too bad. It has a different smell, but it is not something extremely awful. I think this stuff is amazing and the smell is nothing compared to the great effect is has on my skin. This is something that I would recommend for anyone who has acne prone skin or very sensitive skin. This mask is super-efficient in removing blemishes and does not over dry or make irritation worse like other products do. I am almost running out and I am definitely going to get some more this week!
